Slovenia – Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro – Croatia
1st day: Ljubljana
Ljubljana is the capital of Slovenia, one of the most beautiful Balkans countries. After arrival in Ljubljana we will check in the hotel and overnight.
2nd day: Ljubljana – Bled – Ljubljana
After breakfast we will have Ljubljana walking tour. Old Town in Ljubljana is so beautiful, especially Ljubljana Cathedral whose twin towers loom over the city.Castle is situated on a hill overlooking the river. Those places are amazing for making photos. Later we will proceed to the Lake Bled, near the Austrian and Italian borders. Here you will visit Bled Castle,the oldest medieval fortress in Slovenia and the former seats of the Bishops of Brixen. After that we will return to Ljubljana. Overnight in Ljubljana.
3rd day: Ljubljana – Zagreb
Today we will proceed to Zagreb. Zagreb is capital of Croatia, another one beautiful country in Balkans. One part of Zagreb that is new and modern is named Lower Town. It has modern shops, museums, cafes, etc. After checking in the hotel we will visit the most interesting amenities of the Zagreb city like Croatian National Theatre and Museum of Arts. Later we will proceed to older part of Zagreb, named Upper Town for nice walking. Overnight in Zagreb.
4th day: Zagreb – Plitvice Lakes – Split
After check out we will proceed from Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes on of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Plitvice Lakes are part of the UNESCO’s World Natural Heritage. It is made of 5 miles turquoise lakes and waterfalls among beautiful forests. After those beautiful nature scenaries we will proceed to Split. Before arrival in Split we will make stop in Trogir where you will see beautiful historical buildings like St.Lawrence Cathedral with it’s amazing Romanesque portal from 13th century, Old City Hall from 15th century and the Kamerlengo tower. Than we will continue to Split. Overnight in Split.
5th day: Split -Mostar
In the morning we will check out from hotel and proceed to the most beautiful city in south part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mostar. Mostar was one of the most destroyed cities during the war in Bosnia, but even today it has enough preserved architecture speaks to the rich cultural past of this city. Our professional guides will accompany you to the Old Town. This is where you will find the famous bridge and the largest concentration of historic and cultural sights. The most famous attraction here is the Old Bridge, built in 1566 according to plans of Hayruddin, the great Turkish builder of the 16th c. it has been entered on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Hamam – Turkish bath, it is the only Turkish bath still existing in Mostar and one of the few remaining examples in the whole of Herzegovina. Visiting this location will have the unique opportunity to take an immersive step “back in time,” engaging in an element of Mostar lifestyle that has been prevalent for centuries. Overnight in Mostar.
6th day: Mostar – Dubrovnik
After breakfast we will check out from hotel and proceed to Dubrovnik. On this way we will make stop in Pocitelj, the stepped Ottoman-era fortress village of Počitelj is a medieval and Ottoman-Mediterranean wonder of nature and architecture, a place like no other. Cupped in a steep rocky amphitheatre, it’s a warren of stairways climbing between ramshackle stone-roofed houses and pomegranate bushes. Since the year 2000, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Government has placed the village under a program of Permanent Protection. Later we will arrive in Dubrovnik whose old part of the city is is surrounded by city walls over a mile in length. There is also a tower in each corner. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
7th day: Full day tour from Dubrovnik to Kotor and Budva
This day is reserved for full day excursion to Montenegro. Montenegro is another one Balkan country with very long and interesting history. After arrival in Kotor you will see it’s beautiful architecture and a mix of different time epochs. You will visit Cathedral of St. Trifun, one of the most recognizable symbols of the town, It dates from Roman culture. You will also visit the Maritime museum. Later we proceed to Budva, one of the oldest towns on the Adriatic coast. You will walk through the town whose history dates from 15th century. After these walking tours we will proceed back to Dubrovnik. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
8th day: Dubrovnik – Departure
After breakfast we will check out and transfer to Airport/bus station. Departure.
