On our way from Sarajevo to Mostar, we will also have a short stop in Konjic – an enchanting little town located on the banks of river Neretva.
If your journey begins in Sarajevo and you want to go to Split, choose our agency and your transfer will be a memorable tour where you can learn about the history, and traditions of the Herzegovina region. Furthermore, you will have a ride in a comfortable vehicle and nice company on your way to Split.
We start Sarajevo to Split transfer from Sarajevo (from your hotel in Sarajevo or from our agency) every day at 8:00.
After one hour of driving, we will have our first break in Konjic town. Konjic is known for the lovely Ottoman bridge over the Neretva river as well as the traditional craft of woodcarving. Besides that, the tour will follow the lovely canyon of the Neretva river which is one of the most beautiful landscapes in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Furthermore, we continue our tour towards Mostar. Mostar is known as the city of light, stone, historical, political, scientific and cultural centre of Herzegovina. It lies at the foot of the slopes of Velez Mountain, in the Neretva River valley.
Surely, with its Old Bridge, it is one of the most beautiful locations of Bosnia and Herzegovina. For that reason, we will take a walking tour of the Old Town of Mostar and besides the famous Old Bridge, we will also see the Hamam, Turkish bath, Crooked Bridge, Koski Mehmed Pasha mosque and Old Bazaar Kujundziluk. Consequently, after enjoying Mostar we will proceed to Pocitelj Village.
Pocitelj village is a medieval, Ottoman-Mediterranean wonder of nature and architecture, a place like no other. Cupped in a steep rocky amphitheatre, it’s a maze of stairways, stone-roofed houses and pomegranate bushes.
The next destination is Kravice waterfall, a mini version of Niagara Falls, hidden in the Balkans. Kravice waterfalls as one of the most beautiful waterfalls and natural amphitheatres are a protected monument of nature by the State of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After 10-12 hours of enjoying Herzegovina, we arrive at Split. Our guide will drop you at your hotel or any location that you would like.
We had only 2 1/2 short days in BiH and needed to use one to drive to Croatia. We first met MeetBosnia on the free walking tour, and Eddie gave us a great introduction to the old town. We then met Adnan as our guide on The Fall of Yugoslavia Tour – which was an interesting and fascinating story of the sad and not so distant history of Sarajevo. We then realized we could take a “transfer” to Split with MeetBosnia instead of driving ourselves. We were lucky to have Adnan again who spent 12 hours giving a condensed history of major places. The drive would have been nerve wracking on our own through curvy mountain roads! Adnan was a knowledgeable guide who showed us many hidden gems we never could find on our own!
You shouldn’t hesitate to go with them.
I recently went on a trip to Bosnia with my family and our tour guide was Edin. He was friendly and provides excellent taste and recommendations when it comes to food in Sarajevo.
Edin is also unafraid to make himself a part of the family, and in return, makes his tourists feel welcome in Bosnia. I had a wonderful time listening to his knowledge about Bosnia and Islam.
Don’t hesitate to go and contact them, they’ll make your trip to Bosnia worth it.
Amazing Tours, Excellent Service
I am truly impressed with the attention to detail, knowledge and availability of the tour guide to help as and when needed. Excellent job, Edin!
