Sarajevo sightseeing package is a tour package that includes three most popular Sarajevo tours offered by Meet Bosnia Travel agency.
Throughout our Sarajevo sightseeing package, you will be able to learn more and understand better the history, tradition, culture and nature of Sarajevo and its surroundings.
Each of the three tours included in our Sarajevo sightseeing package tells its own story and that was the reason we choose these three to properly present Sarajevo and to show you what to see in Sarajevo.
Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina are famous for their delicious national cuisine. We deeply care about our tradition and it is really important to us. Hence, part of our Sarajevo sightseeing package will walk you through some of the best restaurants and bakeries in Sarajevo where you will be able to try out some of the best food in Sarajevo that will for sure stay in your memory as one of the best experiences you ever had.
History-wise, Sarajevo had a turbulent history with numerous events and tales that are forever written in the history books. From Middle Ages, until the last war in the ’90s, somehow, Sarajevo always ends up like a casualty but more importantly, like a phoenix who always rises up and wins in the losing fight. Due to various events in history, one part of the Sarajevo sightseeing package will lead you through the most important sights and tales from the Sarajevo siege and events that happened in those sad ’90s.
From nature‘s point of view, it is enough to emphasize the fact that Sarajevo was the host of the winter Olympics in 1984. That tells enough about the nature we have here in Sarajevo and its surroundings. A handful of cities in the world can say they have three Olympic Mountains in the close vicinity of the city centre. This as well is the part of our Sarajevo sightseeing package and you’ll have a unique chance to visit the Olympic Mountains while you will learn everything there is to know about Winter Olympics in Sarajevo and why were they so special and how Sarajevo became the only city from former Yugoslavia to host the Olympic Games.

This tour is must when you are visiting Sarajevo. They were very kind and polite. All your guides shared passion with the country. Will definitely visit country again
I can say I was really amazed with the tour guides. I was travelling with my husband and we wanted to have multiple tours in Sarajevo since we didn’t have much time, so we booked this tour and it was the best way to enjoy in Sarajevo. would recommend to everybody!
We took the brilliant free city tour with Laila, witty, open, clever, fluent and well informed. Amazing that this great company offers it for free (but do be generous with your tips). The next day we took the ‘Fall of Yugoslavia’ tour with Adnan. You really must take this tour if you visit this extraordinarily complex city. Adnan’s knowledge, passion and insight made him a beguiling host. This is not a comfortable or comforting tour, nor should it be, what happened in Sarajevo and to Sarajevo should never be forgotten and everyone visiting this place has a duty to at least try and understand it’s past, it’s recent past, it’s present and it’s future. Take this tour, you will not be disappointed.
I was recommended Meet Bosnia as an excellent tour company, and in retrospect, I consider that recommendation golden. My guide was Kiki. She is charming, competent, and exceedingly knowledgeable. Kiki was also personable and she clearly had an authentic love for Sarajevo. That energy was infectious. Not only did I walk away with a ton of knew information, but I also felt more comfortable and at-home in this city which clearly has so much to offer.
Thanks to amazing guides! We attended free tour and war tour and it was amazing! Highly recommended 🙂
