1st day: Arriving in Sarajevo & sightseeing
On the first day of your ski touring adventure in Bosnia, your journey begins with a warm pick-up from Sarajevo International Airport. After a smooth arrival, you’ll be accommodated in Sarajevo, giving you a chance to unwind and recharge.
In the afternoon, enjoy the city’s rich history and culture with a Sarajevo sightseeing tour, exploring landmarks such as the Old Town (Bascarsija), Sebilj Fountain, or the Latin Bridge.
The evening unfolds with a delightful dinner, where you can try traditional Bosnian cuisine. Conclude your day with an overnight stay, ready to embrace the upcoming ski touring experiences in this picturesque region.
2nd day: Ski touring on Visočica
On our second day of ski touring in Bosnia, we begin with a hearty breakfast, gearing up for an adventure-filled day. We set up on a scenic transfer to Visočica Mountain – specifically Tušila, anticipating the snowy landscapes that await our exploration. Engaging in a stimulating ski tour, you can ski on the two routes of Drstvo and Veliko Brdo or the enchanting Subar.
Our energy is replenished, and we enjoy a delightful lunch at the cosy mountain lodge “Vrela”. Later in the day, we transfer to the tranquil surroundings of Konjic, near the scenic Boračko Lake, where we check into our comfortable apartment for a well-deserved break.
The evening unfolds with a delicious dinner at a local restaurant or within the cosy confines of our accommodation. We conclude the day with a restful overnight stay, ready to embrace the serenity of the Bosnian mountains and lakes in the days ahead.
3rd day: Reaching the peak of VIsočica
On our third day of ski touring in Bosnia, we begin again with a satisfying breakfast, gearing up for another day filled with adventure. Our journey takes us on a picturesque transfer to Visočica Mountain, passing through the scenic landscapes of Glavatičevo and Bjelimići.
As we set up on an exhilarating ski tour, we ski from the village of Luka to the awe-inspiring peak of Visočica known as Džamija – Veliki Ljeljen. Following the adventure, we enjoy a well-deserved break at the welcoming lodge in Luka.
Our exploration continues as we make our way back to the tranquil Boračko Lake. The evening unfolds with a delightful dinner. We wrap up the day with an overnight stay, ready to reminisce about the day’s discoveries in the breathtaking Bosnian mountains.
4th day: Ski touring on Prenj
On the fourth day of our ski touring adventure in Bosnia, we commence with breakfast, fueling ourselves for another day of exploration. Our journey takes an adventurous turn with an off-road transfer to the captivating Prenj mountain. Engaging in a thrilling ski tour, we navigate through the scenic landscapes to reach Sivadije, and if weather conditions permit, we may even ascend to the majestic peak – Borašnica.
After a day of exhilarating skiing, we return to Konjic. Following this, we begin our transfer to the picturesque Blidinje – Čvrsnica, where we settle into the comfort of the “Hajdučke vrleti” hotel for the night. The day concludes with a delectable dinner, either at a local restaurant or within the hotel’s welcoming ambience, promising a restful overnight stay in the heart of this beautiful landscape.
5th day: Conquering Čvrsnica
On the fifth day of our ski tour in Bosnia, we start with breakfast, gearing up for another exciting day. We’ll ski to Veliki Vilinac – another peak of Čvrsnica mountain, enjoying the snowy slopes and beautiful views. After a day of adventure, we return to our hotel for a satisfying dinner. With memories of the day, we settle in for a restful sleep, ready for more Bosnian ski exploration.
6th day: Skiing and Mostar sightseeing
Day six of our ski touring expedition in Bosnia starts with a breakfast, setting the tone for the day. We’re in for an exhilarating ski tour to Veliki Vran, skiing through the snowy landscapes and enjoying the thrill of skiing. Once we’ve conquered the slopes, we return to the base and shift gears for a transfer to the captivating cities of Mostar and Blagaj.
Dive into the local culture with a guided tour, discovering the historical and picturesque gems these places have to offer. The day concludes with a delightful dinner, paving the way for a serene overnight stay in this culturally rich region.
7th day: Return to Sarajevo
On the seventh day of our Bosnian ski tour, we plan to return to Sarajevo. Depending on the timing and preferences, there’s the option for an overnight stay in Sarajevo to allow for relaxation and further exploration of the city if needed. This flexible arrangement ensures a smooth conclusion to our ski touring adventure, with the possibility of extending your stay in Sarajevo for added convenience and enjoyment.

Good to know / notice:
- All planned ski tours are technically of moderate difficulty and moderately demanding in terms of fitness, lasting 3 – 6 hours, depending on the group’s readiness and snow and weather conditions.
- The areas are not avalanche-prone and are absolutely safe in terms of landmines.
- In addition to personal ski touring equipment, all group members should possess basic winter mountaineering gear (ice axe, crampons, and helmet), as well as a personal avalanche set (LPP – avalanche transceiver, avalanche shovel, and probe).
- All programs take place on the most attractive sections of the “white lines” of the mega trail “Via Dinarica.”
- The guides are mountaineering and ski touring instructors, mountain rescuers with extensive experience, and excellent connoisseurs of the terrain where the planned activities take place.
