After lunch, we will continue to the second-largest city in Serbia – Novi Sad. The most recognized and probably the most beautiful structure of Novi Sad is Petrovaradin Fortress from which you have a beautiful view of the city and where you can find a museum with a permanent collection featuring the history of the fortress. You can also find there two imposing buildings – the University of Novi Sad and the National Theatre.
After breakfast at your hotel in Novi Sad, we officially finished our 1st stop on our Balkan countries tour and we are heading to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Sarajevo.

On this tour, you will enjoy the beautiful landscape of Hercegovina and learn more about the history of this region.
You will visit Konjic, a small but beautiful town in Herzegovina, Počitelj Village, and Blagaj village where you can visit a mysterious Tekke (Derwish Monastery) and enjoy lunch next to the Spring of the river Buna. Later on, we will go to Kravice waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Europe.

Our journey was more memorable with the assistance of the tour leader Ms Lamija. She is a bright young lady, cheerful, friendly, caring and very passionate on what she’s doing. She has knowlege of all the balkan country’s history, culture and we never get bored with her explanations. Ms Lamija took care all of us since day 1 with all of her heart. The memories will be treasured forever. Highly recommended if you are looking for an English speaking tour guide
Just completed a tremendous the Best Of Balkans. Wonderful destinations! Wonderful tour guide. I can’t say enough about Edin’s our tour guide. With his excellent knowledge, story, planning, and personality! He also has everything set up for every stop along the way. The places we saw were also fantastic – Kotor is a gem, Dubrovnik is fascinating, Plitvice Lakes is unbelievable, and Mostar is magical. We enjoyed ALL of Montenegro, Ohrid, Macedonia and especially Bosnia And herzegovina will not forgotten. I admit to not knowing too much about the Balkans before this trip. Afterwards, I know tons more and had lots of fun while learning!
We are a family of five, that traveled on this beautiful tour with Meet Bosnia Travel. We had really amazing time on this Balkan tour, even though it was a bit cold we had a blast. Our guides were really smart and helpful. Balkan is amazing to visit with family and definitely recommended it.
