Day 1: Arrival in Sarajevo
As you touch down in Sarajevo, our friendly guides eagerly await you at the airport for a warm meet and greet. A swift transfer takes you to your hotel, where you’ll check in and indulge in a quick lunch featuring local cuisine at a nearby restaurant.
Post-lunch, our 2-hour walking tour commences, led by a knowledgeable local expert. Multi-day Sarajevo winter tour gives you an opportunity to explore the city’s most significant historical landmarks, including Baščaršija Square, Sebilj Fountain, the Oldest Street in Sarajevo, Old Orthodox Church, Sacred Heart Cathedral, Synagogue, Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque, Clock Tower, Caravan Saray, Old Madraasa, Bazaar, Meeting of Cultures Spot, Sarajevo Roses, Hotel Europe, Assassination Spot, and the iconic Latin Bridge.

Day 2: Journey to Herzegovina
After a hearty breakfast, we depart from Sarajevo towards the southern part of our country, Herzegovina. Our first stop is in Konjic, where the Stone Bridge awaits exploration. The scenic journey along the green Neretva River leads us to Mostar, a city with a captivating blend of cultural and ethnic diversity.
The highlight is the iconic Old Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2005. Continuing to Blagaj, a haven of tranquillity, indulge in a delightful dinner featuring trout fish. Explore the Tekke, or Dervish Monastery, a significant Ottoman-era monument, followed by a delightful lunch by the enchanting Buna River Spring.
The day concludes with a wine-tasting experience at Emporia Vineyard, sampling the finest wines from Herzegovina. Return to your accommodation in Sarajevo.
Day 3: Adventure Day at Bjelašnica Mountain
Following breakfast, embark on a historical journey to the Tunnel of Hope museum, learning about its captivating narrative and the critical role it played during the siege of Sarajevo. En route, a panoramic tour takes you through Sniper Alley, a descriptive street in the city, and past the iconic Holiday Inn.
At the Tunnel of Hope, gain detailed insights into its significance, and pass through a small section of the original tunnel. The adventure continues to Bjelašnica, the Olympic beauty, where you can choose to ski or join a snowshoeing tour. If you decide on a snowshoeing tour is good to know that the length of this trail is 3.17 km, while the average increase in altitude is 319 m. The starting point is Babin Do, which is located at 1267 meters, towards the Heliodrom over the Kolijevka trail with an increase in altitude of 200 meters – duration is 2 hours.
Revel in the breathtaking views and immerse yourself in the picturesque surroundings. Upon returning to Sarajevo, the evening offers leisure activities and a relaxed atmosphere.
Day 4: Departure

The tour starts and ends at Sarajevo SJJ Airport. We chose this airport because there’s a direct London-Sarajevo flight. In January, departures from London are on 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, with return options on 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th. For February, departures are on 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, and returns on 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, 3rd (March) – and so on. We’ve tailored the tour to match these flights, ensuring your journey is convenient.
Is there free time to explore or do we stay with the group the whole time?
